Holy Holy…
I often use these words when I am very wowed.
And I’m wowed right now.
Friends, we are living in auspicious times and I am sending each of you gratitude and strength for choosing to incarnate on the Earth at this time.
Living on this Earth at any time is no joke. This is a planet of quick expansion and forward movement. The energy that has recently been pouring, sometimes storming physically, energetically, astrologically, angelically and astronomically is wild.
This gets a Holy Holy from me. No expletives, but a big wow.
Let’s take a quick look at some current transits happening right now and I’ll offer suggestions around some self care to remain calm and grounded and rested.
Astrologically:
Astrologically speaking, we are currently in a cosmic slow down. We have a bunch of retrogrades happening. A retrograde is simply a perspective view from the Earth. All planets move around the sun. Sometimes Earth passes a planet, and from the Earth’s perspective, it looks as if the planet we are passing is moving backwards. When a planet is retrograde for us humans on the earth, it means life slows down a bit in certain areas and we must go over old territory that isn’t fully resolved.
Mercury is retrograde in Sagittarius. This happens four times a year in a different sign for 3.5 weeks with shadow periods on either side. Sagittarius is about travel, freedom and optimism. Many of us have noticed the challenges around travel. Mercury is all about communication and technology. Have you gotten the wrong date from someone or experienced a miscommunication? Has your phone or technology been acting up? It will all settle, I promise, but until then, notice what this retrograde has to offer you. Maybe patience, clear communication or a new phone. Shiz happens, you know?
Jupiter just went retrograde on November 11 (until March 11, 2026). This huge planet can have a big effect on each of us personally. Jupiter governs growth and expansion. This retrograde is in Cancer. Cancer is a feeling sign and loves home and family and is very loyal. What helps you feel warm and safe and what family dynamics are you reassessing? With the Mercury Retrograde, you may wish to stay close to home right now. This is a reflective and often “slow” time.
Saturn is also retrograde and will begin to move direct on November 27. Saturn is all about details, daily activities, tasks and discipline. Saturn asks the question, “How do you get things done?” It is currently retrograde in Pisces, another feeling and intuitive astro sign. This retrograde is subtle in dreamy Pisces. The focus is to reevaluate our spiritual boundaries, faith, trust and energetic hygiene. What devotion and discipline are you offering or not offering yourself? Like Mercury Retro, Saturn is all about patience and contemplation.
Hence, the cosmic slow down.
Astronomy and our beloved Sun:
Many of us are enjoying the Northern Lights. We can thank the Severe Geomagnetic Storms that have come from the Sun as well as the X-class solar flares. This is astronomy, yes. However, I also believe that angelic Light Codes are sent down as well.
We all survive because of the Sun. We require the Light to allow the electrical system in our bodies to work. However, when the Sun is so active it can be challenging on our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.
I follow the Sun’s activity through my SpaceWeather app. I notice when the Sun is active because it affects me and life around me. I have NEVER in all my Sun watching noticed a Severe Geomagnetic Storm. Strong, yes. Severe, no.
This amount of Light from the Sun allows for a huge upgrade for each of us. We can feel it through exhaustion, vivid dreams, restlessness, waves of emotion, ringing in the ears, headaches and more.
Self care is important when these Light Codes pour down. Here are some suggestions of self care.
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!!
Salt baths
Journaling random thoughts and emotions
Ground, ground, ground! Get outside - even though it might be windy and cold
Rest a bit more often - go to bed earlier, take a nap if possible
Exercise - gentle walking and yoga is so helpful
Fruits and vegetables!
Breathe! Mindful breathing supports the nervous system, especially outdoor breathing
Bring flowers into your home
Meditate
